How to use WhatsApp PAY?

1. Update WhatsApp: Make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your smartphone. You can download it from your device's app store if you haven't already.

2. Verify Your Phone Number: Ensure that your phone number is linked to your WhatsApp account and is verified.

3. Link Your Bank Account:

   • Open WhatsApp and tap on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner to access the menu.
   • Tap on "Payments" or "Payment Settings" (the exact wording may vary).
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your payment account.
   • You'll be asked to choose your bank and verify your phone number linked to your bank account.
   • WhatsApp will send an SMS to verify your number, and once it's confirmed, your bank account will be linked.

4. Create a UPI Pin:

   • After linking your bank account, you'll need to create a UPI (Unified Payments Interface) PIN.
   • This PIN is required to authorize transactions securely.
   • Follow the instructions in the app to set up your UPI PIN. You may need to provide your debit card details to do this.

5. Send Money:

   • To send money to someone, open the chat with the person you want to send money to.
   • Tap on the attachment icon (usually a paperclip) or the rupee symbol, which represents payments.
   • Enter the amount you want to send and add a note if needed.
   • Confirm the payment by entering your UPI PIN.

6. Receive Money:

   • If someone sends you money through WhatsApp Pay, you'll receive a notification.
   • Simply open the chat where you received the payment, and you'll see the option to accept or reject the payment.
   • Tap "Accept" to add the money to your linked bank account.

7. View Transaction History:

   • You can view your transaction history by going to the Payments section in WhatsApp.
   • This will show you a record of all your sent and received payments.
